1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Glow Protocol's website (glowprotocol.beauty) and the Glow app (app.glowprotocol.beauty), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Glow Protocol provides personalized skincare routine recommendations through an AI-powered app. Our services include a skin quiz, personalized AM/PM routines, an 8-week barrier protocol, a daily three-signal skin log and its history, an AI skincare assistant (Glowie), product recommendations, skin check-ins, and routine evolution based on your feedback.
3. Not Medical Advice
Glow Protocol is a skincare guidance tool, not a medical service. Our recommendations, including those from Glowie, our AI assistant, are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a dermatologist or healthcare provider for medical skin conditions, allergic reactions, or health concerns. If you experience adverse reactions to any product, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.
4. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
5. Free Access, Barrier Reset, and Memberships
The free beta requires an invitation and a verified account. Completing the quiz builds a morning and evening routine; it does not create an account or grant paid program access. Free accounts have a daily allowance of Glowie messages and product checks.
The Barrier Reset. The eight-week program costs $49 as a one-time payment. It does not renew. For sixty days after purchase, you may request a full refund by emailing the word "refund" to carolina@glowprotocol.beauty. We issue the refund to the original payment method; your bank's processing time may vary. Anything you already downloaded remains yours, and in-app Reset access ends when the refund is recorded.
Glow Seasons. After completing the Reset, you may choose an optional membership at $29 per year or, where offered, $3.99 per month. It does not start automatically. Seasons renews until cancelled. Founding members whose offer includes the first year receive that year at no charge starting at graduation; unless cancelled before renewal, the annual plan then renews at $29 per year.
Legacy Glow+. Glow+ is a retired subscription ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) and is no longer offered for sale. Existing subscribers keep their original plan while it remains active. It includes:
- Weekly routine adjustments written from your own signals
- Glowie without the five-messages-a-day limit
- Product checks without the five-a-day limit
- Your progress photos inside the skin report
Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel a recurring plan through your profile settings or Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not delete your account data. A cancelled legacy Glow+ plan cannot be restarted. Any written guarantee supplied when you bought a legacy plan remains subject to the terms presented with that purchase.
6. Affiliate Links & Product Recommendations
Glow Protocol participates in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates and Skimlinks. When we recommend products, some links may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Our recommendations are based on your skin profile and needs, not on affiliate commission rates. Glowie will always disclose when sharing affiliate links.
7. AI-Generated Content
Glowie is powered by AI (Anthropic's Claude). While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors or outdated information. Product recommendations are based on our curated database and your skin profile. We recommend always patch-testing new products and checking ingredient lists for known allergens.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse our services, including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the app, using automated systems to scrape content, or submitting false information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, and code on Glow Protocol is owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission. Your skin profile data and chat history remain your property. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
10. Limitation of Liability
Glow Protocol is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any skin reactions, allergies, or adverse effects from following our recommendations. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Glow Protocol in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
